Product Introduction
Spiral classifier (Screw classifier）is one of the equipment for mineral processing. It is a mechanical classification device that uses the principle that the solid particles have different specific gravities, resulting in different sedimentation speeds in liquids. It can filter the mineral powder ground in the mill, and then use spiral blades to screw the coarse material into the feed inlet of the mill, and discharge the filtered fine material from the overflow pipe.
Spiral classifiers are widely used in mineral processing plants to form a closed-loop circulation process with ball mills for separating mineral sand, or in gravity beneficiation plants to classify ore sand and fine mud, as well as in metal beneficiation processes for particle size classification of slurry, and in mineral washing operations such as desliming and dewatering.
